Job Summary:
The National Territory Manager for Medical Devices will be responsible for responding to all inbound product inquiries, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, and achieving sales targets within the healthcare industry. This role demands strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals. Additionally, the Inside Territory Manager will be eligible to advance to a Territory Manager as new territories are added.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Inbound Inquiries: Efficiently manage and respond to inbound inquiries from potential and existing customers, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Support Field Sales: Collaborate closely with field sales representatives to coordinate sales efforts, disseminate inbound leads, and provide follow-up support to ensure successful customer interactions and conversions.
  • Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed annual sales goal, contributing to the overall growth of the company.
  • Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify and reach out to potential healthcare providers, hospitals, and clinics, in currently open territories, through cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our medical devices, including their features, benefits, and clinical applications.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with existing customers, including physicians, hospital administrators, and procurement teams, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the needs of healthcare professionals, highlighting clinical advantages and compliance with medical regulations.
  • Close Sales: Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and close sales, ensuring smooth onboarding and integration of our devices in medical facilities.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account status in the CRM system.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory changes to effectively position our devices in the market.
  • Collaboration: Work with the clinical support team, marketing, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience.
  • Location:
    • Must be willing to relocate within the first 12 months of employment.
    • Live near a major metropolitan airport in the United States.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth understanding of medical devices and the healthcare industry preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence healthcare professionals.
    • Proven negotiation and closing skills.
    • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with field sales teams.
  • Ability to Travel: Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
