ROLE SUMMARY

A Reflow Medical Territory Manager is responsible for developing and managing a strong network of physicians who treat peripheral vascular infrainguinal occlusive disease and ideally, has experience in complex/CTO coronary disease. The Territory Manager needs a proven sales track record and an extensive clinical background in launching new therapies, procedural facilitation solutions, and market development. Procedural and clinical excellence is critical for success.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO)

  • Experienced and an established network in the interventional peripheral vascular market are required, interventional cardiology experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record of outstanding sales performance.
  • Expert clinical skills specifically in interventional peripheral vascular, infrainguinal, and occlusive disease.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies utilizing extensive customer, product, competition, and pricing knowledge of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company’s products to appropriate hospital personnel and physicians.
  • Develop action plans by analyzing monthly and quarterly sales figures and reports identifying the needs of accounts and discussing issues with the Regional Sales Director to help the organization achieve its annual sales goals.
  • Establish pricing packages that address specific customer needs while satisfying company guidelines and policies.
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and services by developing creative and feasible solutions or other personnel (such as engineering, sales operations, and/or marketing) to develop optimal solutions and delight customers.
  • Develop, build, and foster relationships with hospital personnel to make new contacts in multiple departments within the hospital and identify key purchasing decision-makers in order to facilitate future sales.
  • Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms to secure purchasing commitments, often with the help of incentive programs and services made available to the account being developed.

EDUCATION AND/OR JOB EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in the medical device industry and a minimum of 3 years experience in the peripheral vascular market.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong clinical, analytical, and selling skills.
  • Proven ability to launch new products.
  • Ability to balance new business development activities with cultivating current customer base.
  • Problem-solving and the ability to be coached and directed by other teammates will allow collaboration and success in selling the venous and arterial portfolio.
  • Extensive travel with multi-overnights required to facilitate relationship building and business interests.
  • Standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, light lifting, computer operation, travel by air/rail/auto.
